Chevelle

We were running the motor extra rich while breaking it in on the dyno.

This car was the most fun to build because, well… I’m a suspension guy. The front and rear suspension were designed to be related to each other to make for a very confident feeling car.  The 100% 4130 tube chassis was completely TIG welded and we did everything we could to keep it from being in the way. Hiding the tube work above the headliner and the “backbone” somewhat mimics a center console.

The motor is a Vortec supercharged LS6 coupled to a Tremec T56 6spd transmission. The package delivered 500hp and 500ft lbs of torque to the tires. It isn’t the fastest thing on the streets, but it is well mannered and reliable.
